Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is the cornerstone of philanthropic support at Saint Philip Neri School and directly supports our students, academic programs and faculty.  It is the most direct way to make a positive impact on the educational experience for our students.

Your gift goes to work immediately to help provide purchases for our science and math departments, resources for language arts and library studies, physical education and music classes, and so much more. Annual Fund gifts have a tremendous impact on programs for our students.

What is the Annual Fund?
The Saint Philip Neri School Annual Fund is made up of hundreds of operating gifts from our loyal alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends. In the Fall of 2014, gifts from donors added over $30,000 in expendable operating support.

Doesn't tuition cover expenses?
Like so many Catholic elementary schools, our school faces a budgetary gap between tuition income and expenses. While our mission is to keep our tuition low, our challenge is to provide financial funding for all of our academic programs. The primary purpose of the Saint Philip Neri Annual Fund is to raise unrestricted funds for our school and its students. Your Annual Fund gift supports the distinctive educational experiences that Saint Philip Neri School offers and helps to make our school accessible to a broad range of students.

Why Participate?
The Annual Fund is an important part of who we are and what we do. The faculty and staff of Saint Philip Neri seek new ways of educating the students through projects that may not be in the school plan for the year. Annual Fund gifts are often the only source of discretionary funds available to the principal and teachers to respond to unforeseen opportunities and needs.

Annual Fund gifts touch every corner of the Saint Philip Neri School campus—providing funds for academic initiatives, course development, student fellowships, student organizations, classroom remodeling and renovation, instructional technology, and so much more.

Your gift, no matter its size, is greatly appreciated.

What’s the Goal?
We’ve set a goal for our community of 100% participation. We are asking our family members and parishioners to make Saint Philip Neri School a priority when it comes to supporting programs. Every dollar you contribute to our cause goes directly towards inspiring a young mind in our midst. Your donation, at any financial level, is greatly appreciated and will be put to immediate use for the good of our students and school. This is your invitation to make a difference.

Saint Philip Neri Catholic School needs your support. As a friend, parishioner or alum of our school you have first-hand knowledge of the value of a Catholic elementary education. By donating today you will help to ensure students of our community will receive the highest level of education reflected in our commitment to an up-to-date curriculum, modern and expanded technology and science resources, and a challenging and advanced math and language arts program.

How can I increase the impact of my support through a matching gift?
Many companies and foundations will double or even triple the value of charitable gifts made by employees and their spouses, board members, and retirees. To find out if a particular company or foundation has a matching gift program, contact your company’s personnel or human resources office. If they do, please mail the matching form with your gift to the school. We will take it from there.
